This illustration was inspired by the mushroom Mycena Haematopus, otherwise known as "bleeding fairy helmet" mushrooms. The word 'helmet' made me think of a knight's helmet and the rest of the piece sprang from there.

Printed on A4 (8.3"x11.7") 170gsm paper with a smooth matte finish.
Original piece was done with black ink and alcohol-based markers.
